Internet poker has become world famous as of late, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game shows. The games universal appeal, though, arcs back quite a bit further than its television scores. Over the years many variations on the first poker game have been created, including some games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely affiliated with vingt-et-un than traditional poker, in that the players wager against the bank instead of each other. The succeeding hands, are the established poker hands. There is no concealment or different kinds of deceptiveness. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to pay up prior to the croupier declares "No further bets." At that moment, both you and the bank and of course every one of the different gamblers are given 5 cards each. After you have observed your hand and the casino’s initial card, you have to in turn make a call wager or surrender. The call wager’s amount is akin to your original bet, which means that the risks will have increased two fold. Giving Up means that your bet goes directly to the dealer. After the wager comes the conclusion. If the dealer does not have ace/king or better, your bet is given back, plus an amount on par with the ante. If the bank does have ace/king or better, you succeed if your hand is greater than the bank’s hand. The casino pays out cash equal to your ante and fixed odds on your call wager. These expectations are:
- Equal for a pair or high card
- two to one for two pairs
- 3-1 for three of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- 5-1 for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- twenty to one for a 4 of a kind
- 50-1 for a straight flush
- 100-1 for a royal flush
