Double-hand Poker is a cutting-edge game with old ancestry. Based on the old Chinese tile game and the current American version of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the east with the western in a fantastic game for beginner level gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player vs. the dealer, not like the majority of other poker games that players compete with other gamblers. By competing against the dealer, starting players don’t have to fret about any other, more skillful gamblers winning their money.

One more Pai Gow edge is the relatively leisurely game play, novices are able to take their time and scheme without having to make frenzied selections.

It is also easier to play for a long time with only a little bit of cash after all, to lose, both of your hands has to be under each of the houses hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the regular 52-card common deck and a single joker. The player is given 7 cards face up and the croupier is given 7 cards faces hidden.

A five card hand and one 2 card hand need to be put together from the seven cards dealt, the five card hand has to be stronger than the 2 card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be larger than the dealer’s.
