Online poker has become world famous as of late, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game events. The games popularity, though, stretches back quite a bit further than its TV scores. Over the years numerous types on the first poker game have been developed, including a few games that are not in fact poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of the above-mentioned games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely affiliated with 21 than long-standing poker, in that the players wager against the house rather than the other players. The winning hands, are the established poker hands. There is little conniving or different types of deception. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to pay up prior to the dealer announcing "No more wagers." At that moment, both you and the bank and of course all of the different players attain 5 cards each. After you have looked at your hand and the dealer’s 1st card, you have to in turn make a call bet or give up. The call bet’s amount is akin to your beginning ante, indicating that the risks will have increased two fold. Giving Up means that your wager goes instantly to the dealer. After the bet is the conclusion. If the dealer doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your wager is returned, including a sum equal to the original wager. If the bank has a hand with ace/king or greater, you win if your hand defeats the casino’s hand. The house pays out cash equal to your ante and fixed odds on your call bet. These odds are:

  • Equal for a pair or high card
  • 2-1 for 2 pairs
  • 3-1 for three of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • 5-1 for a flush
  • seven to one for a full house
  • 20-1 for a 4 of a kind
  • fifty to one for a straight flush
  • 100-1 for a royal flush
