Web poker has become world acclaimed recently, with televised events and celebrity poker game events. Its popularity, though, stretches back in reality a bit further than its TV ratings. Over the years many variations on the earliest poker game have been created, including some games that are not in fact poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of the above-mentioned games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely affiliated with twenty-one than long-standing poker, in that the players bet against the dealer instead of the other players. The succeeding hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is no bluffing or different kinds of deception. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to pay up just before the croupier saying "No further wagers." At that moment, both you and the dealer and of course all of the different gamblers receive five cards. Once you have seen your hand and the casino’s 1st card, you need to in turn make a call wager or surrender. The call wager’s amount is akin to your original ante, meaning that the risks will have doubled. Abandoning means that your bet goes instantly to the dealer. After the wager comes the conclusion. If the bank doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your bet is given back, including a figure equal to the ante. If the house does have ace/king or better, you win if your hand defeats the casino’s hand. The bank pays out money even with your ante and fixed odds on your call wager. These odds are:
- Even for a pair or high card
- two to one for two pairs
- 3-1 for 3 of a kind
- 4-1 for a straight
- five to one for a flush
- seven to one for a full house
- 20-1 for a four of a kind
- fifty to one for a straight flush
- one hundred to one for a royal flush
